This year‘s MWC was a very exciting one for sensewhere. The week-long event saw the sensewhere technology demonstrated at three booths: sensewhere‘s own, Scottish Enterprise‘s and Intel‘s. The team spoke to hundreds of technology enthusiasts and potential business partners. The key applications presented by us at the show included geowhere, adwhere and snapp! , all supported by the core technology of our world leading indoor location software.
snapp! at MWC
With the new Fira Gran Via venue hosting the event in Barcelona also came our newly built indoor map which was enabled on our snapp! application using the latest of our positioning technology and facilitating easy user navigation between hundreds of booths across all MWC halls. The application also featured sensewhere‘s adwhere platform that was able to deliver targeted messages and ads at specific booths.

sensewhere with Intel
The MWC event was full of surprises and we had a last minute exciting revelation of having united with Intel on their stand to deliver world leading indoor positioning technology to Intel driven Wireless Platforms.
We proudly demonstrated our self-correcting crowd mapped indoor positioning for Windows 8 and Android reference designs showcasing how platform independent sensewhere software is.
It was wonderful to see how the integration of our seamless software platform with Intel‘s world leading architecture attracted so much interest and networking opportunities at the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry.
We received a warm welcome at their stand and a lot of additional exposure featuring our material. SDI also hosted a Whisky Experience event facilitating additional networking opportunities and giving the guests a taste of the real Scotch! It was also great to see SDI‘s employees representing Scotland in style with their smart authentic kilts.
